The degree program is designed to embed industry experts throughout the duration of the course, with West Ham United Foundation and Academy delivering on half of your modules. You’ll learn the skills needed to become an inspiring, motivating, and highly qualified coach as well as how to design training programs and analyze performance. Whether you end up mentoring top athletes or inspiring schoolchildren – we’ll help you to follow the coaching path that excites you most. The coaches we help develop have a strong reputation, especially because they have already gained real-world experience before they graduate. So, after your three years with us, you’ll be well placed to find employment, with the latest statistics showing that over 90 percent of our graduates are either at work or involved in further study within six months of graduating.

Employability
Since launching the course in 2019, the degree has become hugely popular and already provided a number of high-caliber students part-time work in sport alongside their degree program. The most recent graduates on our West Ham United Foundation courses have achieved full-time and part-time positions at incredible sports organizations such as; West Ham United FC, Manchester City FC in Abu Dhabi, Crystal Palace FC, Arsenal FC, London Sport, the FA, Essex Cricket Club, London Lions, London Basketball Association and more. After graduating, our graduates remain a part of the West Ham United family too, regularly visiting our current students to talk about their journey so far and what they had to do in order to graduate and succeed.
