BA (Hons) Mathematics and Psychology

BA (Hons) Mathematics and Psychology

In this course, you will explore the beauty, elegance, and practicality of pure mathematics, applied mathematics, and statistics. You will learn how to apply maths for a range of purposes which may include developing precise and logical arguments, constructing rigorous proofs, and formulating solutions to new problems. You will study in an intellectually stimulating environment amongst other mathematicians. The program covers core material as well as allowing you to explore a range of specialisms which might include pure or applied mathematics, or probability and modeling, which are particularly relevant to psychology. The program makes the transition from A-Level to university Mathematics as smooth as possible with a carefully designed first-year curriculum and multi-layered student support structure.
