This course aims to provide you with a pedagogical structure that facilitates the learning of research methodologies, both qualitative and quantitative. You will be required to engage with communities, locally, nationally, and internationally in order to produce outcomes that focus on the analysis of socio-economic and geographic phenomena relevant to the industry of fashion. The course will offer you the opportunity to work closely with other students within the University of East London’s Fashion cluster and other departments within the School of Arts and Digital Industries.

This course offers the opportunity of year-long placement between years 2 and 3. If you choose to take this option, you’ll spend your third year on a placement with a relevant company or organization, adding valuable practical experience to your growing academic knowledge. The extra placement year is an addition to your studies. This means that it will take 4 years to complete your studies, instead of 3.
