In this course, you will be trained from first principles in Computer Science and Mathematics. The two disciplines are blended seamlessly throughout your degree. You will undertake significant development projects, including a final year data science dissertation led by academics with research specialties currently in artificial intelligence, big data, and statistical modeling. You will explore a range of advanced technical topics which may include cloud computing, as well as academic research, industry-focused professional skills, and practical problem-solving to ensure you are fully equipped for an exciting and intellectually stimulating journey as a Data Scientist. This Integrated Master’s offers you an extra year of in-depth study and the ability to creatively apply your knowledge in novel situations. The MSci training covers advanced mathematics and statistics as well as research, leaving you ideally placed to make meaningful contributions in top-level industries as well as continuing your academic career with a further study via a research doctorate.
