This extended course is perfect if you want a degree in Economics but you don’t have the standard entry requirements. We prepare you for your degree during the Foundation year, bringing you up to speed with academic skills and a firm grounding in the subject. You can then go on to study for the full undergraduate degree. Our BSc Economics equips you with the right skills to tackle the different challenges you’ll face in the ever-changing business world. Employability

This course provides an excellent pathway for a career as an economist in financial institutions and banking, business management, consulting, commerce, the public sector, and voluntary organizations. Economists are in high demand in both the private and public sectors. They can be skilled managers, researchers, analysts, and strategists. Graduates may also progress on to postgraduate study. Some of our graduates have gone on to work for Nomura, IAG Cargo, Macquarie, HSBC, Barclays, Wells Fargo, and Metro Bank. Those that have gone on to postgraduate studies secured admission into UCL, LSE, and Queen Mary.
