This course offers the opportunity of year-long placement between years two and three. If you choose to take this option, you’ll spend your third year on a placement with a relevant company or organization, adding valuable practical experience to your growing academic knowledge. The extra placement year means it will take four years to complete your studies, instead of three.

Employability
With a degree in architectural design technology, you’ll be perfectly placed to provide the crucial link between architects and other professionals and managers in the construction industry. Your knowledge of design procedures, technology, professional practice, and the business side of procurement and contracts will give you the chance to play a pivotal role in the construction world. As an architectural technologist, you have a number of options. For example, you could work for an architectural practice, a large construction company, a design consultancy, or a local authority or regulatory body. Alternatively, you could work as a freelance or set up your own company.

- International-Diploma with 24 points including a minimum of 15 points at Higher Level.
