BA (Hons) Mathematics (Pure Mathematics)

In this course, you will learn to use maths to develop precise and logical arguments, construct rigorous proofs, and formulate solutions to new problems. The beauty and power of abstract mathematical concepts are explored, along with a range of applications. Mathematics helps you to take novel approaches to problem solving and make critical interpretations of data and text. The main focus of this specialism is on algebraic structures, beginning with their fundamental properties and continuing to more advanced applications. Our programs are designed for students with varying educational backgrounds and have a multi-layered student support structure.
