Employability

Because the program is broad-based and interdisciplinary, a range of careers may be open to you.  These include, but are not limited to, becoming a teacher – particularly if you want to teach in Early Years settings, Primary Schools, or Post-16 Education and Training (such as Further Education College).  You might be interested in working in Special Educational Needs, Youth Development, Youth and Community Education, Children, Family, and Community Outreach, or in an education support role such as a Teaching Assistant or Learning Mentor. Alternatively, a career in educational management, social and educational policy, or educational administration may interest you. During the course, you’ll have frequent opportunities to meet practitioners and potential employers, and we also arrange dedicated careers workshops and events.
