This extended four-year course is perfect if you want a degree in animation and illustration but you don’t have the standard qualifications. First we prepare you for your degree during your Foundation year, bringing you up to speed with academic skills and a firm grounding in the subject. Then you can go on to do the full undergraduate degree in animation and illustration. Over the four years, we give you both the guidance and the independence you need to express your artistic vision with confidence and quality.

Employability
Graduates who have studied our animation and illustration modules have gone on to enjoy success in various fields. Some of our students set up a university society that grew into a business, Backwards Burd, and which now showcases the work of new illustrators and artists. Others work in animation and motion graphics studios while some run animation workshops. Opportunities abound. It’s a course that would suit anyone considering a career in independent filmmaking. Or it could be ideal for a start in the graphics industry, producing animated content for advertising, web applications, games design, animated storybooks, apps, and music videos.

Requirements
- A Level- Must include passes at A2 in at least 1 subject.
- BTEC Extended Diploma or Diploma.
- International-Diploma with 24 points including a minimum of 15 points at Higher Level.
- Overall IELTS score of 5.5 with a minimum of 5.5 in Reading, Writing, Listening, and Speaking (or recognized equivalent).
