Available Postgraduate Degrees
Entry Requirements for Postgraduate Study
- The minimum entry requirement fixed by the University of London for postgraduate study is a second-class honors degree in an appropriate subject from a UK university or an equivalent international qualification.
- If the main subject of your degree is not directly relevant to your proposed postgraduate program, you may be asked to complete a qualifying program of study.
- If English is not your first language or you have not previously studied in English, the requirement for this program is the equivalent of an International English Language Testing System (IELTS Academic Test) score of 7.0, with not less than 6.0 in each of the sub-tests.

Birbeck University of London International Scholarships
- The Birkbeck University of London offers limited scholarships to qualified and motivated international students from Asia (Central Asia, South Asia, South East Asia, and East Asia), the Caribbean, Latin America, and the MENA (the Middle East and North Africa).
- Who may apply: International students from the above regions hold unconditional offers in any full-time program Birkbeck offers, starting in October 2022 or January 2023. You must be an international fee-payer to qualify.
- Scholarship amounts:
- £2000 (tuition fee-only, first year only)
- £1500 (tuition fee-only, first year only)
- £1000 (tuition fee-only, first year only).
- Deadline: August 2023. Please note that applications will be assessed and processed first-come, first-served basis. Therefore, you are advised to apply as soon as possible.
